Evaluations
Thorough assessments to understand your child's communication skills and build a clear plan forward.

Description
A speech and language evaluation at Tiny Babbles is thorough, play-based, and designed to give you clear answers, not more confusion.
We assess your child's communication skills using a combination of formal standardized assessments and dynamic, observational measures. That means we're not just testing your child. We're watching how they communicate naturally, in real interactions.
After the evaluation, you'll receive a detailed report that explains your child's strengths, areas of need, and a clear set of goals. No jargon, no vague language, but a clear roadmap you can understand and act on. If therapy is recommended, we'll walk you through exactly what that looks like and help you get started right away. If therapy isn't needed, we'll tell you that too.
What We Offer
Comprehensive Assessment: A full evaluation of your child's speech, language, communication, and feeding skills using both formal and dynamic measures.
Play-Based Approach: Your child doesn't need to "perform." We observe natural communication through play and interaction to get the most accurate picture.
Clear, Actionable Report: You'll receive a written report with specific findings, goals, and recommendations in language you can actually understand.
Parent Interview: We start by listening to you. Your observations and concerns are the foundation of every evaluation.
Same-Day Discussion: After the evaluation, we'll sit down with you to discuss what we found and answer every question you have.
Insurance Coordination: We help navigate insurance coverage and authorization for evaluations.
Who It’s For
A speech and language evaluation may be right for your child if:
Your pediatrician has recommended a speech or language assessment.
Your child isn't meeting speech or language milestones for their age.
Teachers or caregivers have expressed concerns about your child's communication.
Your child is difficult to understand compared to same-age peers.
You've noticed your child struggles to follow directions or express their needs.
Your child has a diagnosis (autism, Down syndrome, hearing loss, etc.) and needs a communication baseline.
You're not sure if your child needs therapy — and you want a professional opinion.
