Gestalt Language Processing Caregiver Consultation
A 4-week caregiver training to understand and support your gestalt language processor at home.

Description
Some children learn language in chunks — whole phrases, song lyrics, or scripts from their favorite shows — before they learn individual words. This is called gestalt language processing, and it's not a disorder. It's a valid, natural path to language that's especially common in autistic children and other neurodivergent learners.
Our Gestalt Language Processing program is a 4-week caregiver training series — available in-person or via Zoom — designed to help you understand how your child processes and develops language. You'll learn to recognize the stages of gestalt language development, respond in ways that support natural language acquisition, and create an environment where your child's communication can flourish. This training is based on the Natural Language Acquisition (NLA) framework.

Who It’s For
Gestalt Language Processing training is for families and caregivers of children who:
Repeat phrases from TV shows, movies, songs, or books (echolalia/scripting).
Use memorized chunks of language that seem "out of context" but are meaningful to them.
Are autistic or otherwise neurodivergent and learning language in a non-linear way.
Have been told they have echolalia but haven't received guidance on what it means or how to support it.
Are making progress in some areas of communication but seem "stuck" in others.
Would benefit from caregivers who understand how their brain processes language.
